What is CPR/LVR?
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and LVR (Low Voltage Rescue) are two critical skills that electrical workers must master.
When a person has a cardiac arrest CPR will help maintain blood flow and oxygenation through the body to ensure they have the best chance at being resuscitated!
LVR, on the other hand, focuses on the safe rescue of individuals from live low-voltage panels and electrical emergencies.

Hands-On Learning and Practical Assessments
Our CPR/LVR course covers a range of situations involving live work, including LV panel rescue procedures, providing basic life support (including cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and includes theory and practical skill assessment activities. Participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through the use of our low voltage rescue kit and live LV panel, ensuring they are well-prepared for real-life scenarios.
Recognised Qualifications
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the following units:
- UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
These qualifications, also known validate the participant’s competency in performing rescue procedures and administering CPR in electrical emergency situations.
